Guildford City Cricket Club is running a 3 day cricket camp from 26th - 28th August for cricket fanatics from the ages of 5- 17.
The camp will provide opportunities for your children to develop their cricketing skills in a fun and enjoyable environment.
The course is running from 10am – 4pm, the cost will be £15 a day or £40 if you book all three days.. Spaces will be allocated on a first come, first served basis.

Time: 1pm onwards
Come and enjoy a Caribbean cuisine
Fun filled activities such as: Face painting, bran tub, three-legged race and lots more

Hi all,
A big Thank You to all those who attended and contributed to the Friday Curry Night. I know my family and I had a very enjoyable evening and I hope you all did too. I am delighted to announce we raised £1300 for Guildford CCC and the Hashim Welfare Hospital.

'After Dinner Cricketing Tales' is composed of cricket anecdotes from cricketers at every level of the game and is a great source of amusement.
It was compiled and printed to raise funds for the Guildford City Youth Project which provides cricket coaching and the opportunity to play to young players from schools who can only provide very limited sporting opportunities and to members of minority ethnic groups who do not have access to coaching.
It also has the added benefit of enabling the various groups to gain better understanding of each other’s culture.

Guildford City would like to wish our former Coach Mark Lane the best of luck for being selected as Head Coach for the England Ladies cricket team <read article, this opens in a new window>. Mark brought a lot of experience and coaching development to city as well as securing promotion to division 1 of the fullers league.
Indoor/Outdoor Cricket Training 2008 ( Starting April 2008)
Note: Thursday's will continue outdoor at the Old Guildfordians Ground at Stoke Park (opposite the spectrum). The colts training on Sunday's will also be outside due to a new floor being laid.
U9's .........................Sundays 10-12

U15/U17..................Thursdays (6-8)
Adults........................Wednesdays (8-10)
Everybody is welcome New or Old, just turn up at the Surrey Cricket Centre<directions> and the experienced Coaching staff will prepare you for the year ahead. Remember All abilities welcome.
If anyone has any ideas about fundraising and can organise an event to bring everyone together please let our new Club Secretary know ( Saffina Elahi on 01483-747868) . Rubina has already organised a trip to watch a T20 game and is hosting a curry night so any events are welcome.
