Active Surrey Club Accreditation assists clubs to develop, help to prove their quality and gain recognition. GCCC has gained bronze status which includes some of the following criteria:

GCCC is working hard behind the scenes to achieve gold standard with an aim to be one of the best places to play and learn cricket in Surrey.
New Cricket Ground at Sutherland Memorial Park (opposit Sainsbury's in Guildford)
Guildford City Cricket Club will now be using Sutherland Memorial Ground as our main pitch. In order for us to get ready for the new season we will need volunteers to get the pavillion ready. Could all members help please (many hands make light work) and support the Club. Please let any of the GCCC officials know if you can help (beginning of April)
Tesco Sports Vouchers
Guildford City Cricket Club are collecting Tesco vouchers. If you could grab as many as possible and pass them onto Sue Brown or any off the coaches that woudl be greatley appreciated. The more vouchers we have the better the equipment we can purchase to aid our developing colts.
Cricket Training
Guildford City Cricket Club has begun its pre-season training. We have a highly qualified and motivated team of coaches that will take your game to the next level. If you want to get fit for cricket why not join our Strength & Fitness Session between 7 and 8.

'After Dinner Cricketing Tales' is composed of cricket anecdotes from cricketers at every level of the game and is a great source of amusement.
It was compiled and printed to raise funds for the Guildford City Youth Project which provides cricket coaching and the opportunity to play to young players from schools who can only provide very limited sporting opportunities and to members of minority ethnic groups who do not have access to coaching.
It also has the added benefit of enabling the various groups to gain better understanding of each other’s culture.

Guildford City would like to wish our former Coach Mark Lane the best of luck for being selected as Head Coach for the England Ladies cricket team <read article, this opens in a new window>. Mark brought a lot of experience and coaching development to city as well as securing promotion to division 1 of the fullers league.
City pays above the normal rate for good umpires because we need and appreciate the assistance with the development of our Colts. If you are interested in Umpiring, Scoring or Coaching please call Stuart (01483-575634)
